All-PowerfulTM four-axis dynamic cutting head is the latest achievement in scientific research of Shenyang All-Powerful Science & Technology Corp. in 2008. It is first in China and has got ahead of similar products internationally. The main purpose of four-axis cutting head is to compensate tilting degrees, to make the finished edge completely vertical. This cutting head has already performed excellently in many cutting fields to reduce processing cost and increase working efficiency.

 

Actually, the four-axis cutting head has the structure of five-axis, but one is manual control angle axis, the other is rotation axis and with the original three-axis, all of which we define as four-axis cutting head. Since this head has five axes, it is able to finish work done by five axes, but compared with five-axis cutting head, limitations still exist, i.e. smaller angle of inclination. The biggest angle of inclination is 4 degrees and angular accuracy of rotation axis is 0.01 degrees. Due to tilting degree compensation, the distance between cutting head and surface of workpiece need to be very accurate. The height positioning accuracy of four-axis is 0.01mm and cutting accuracy is 0.1mm, which can meet various cutting requirements.

 

The four-axis cutting head is driven by 200 W servomotor, its total weight is 10.5 Kgs and external dimension is 425mm×272mm×210mm.

It is more surprising in marble matching. When the tilting degrees of cutting head reaches 4, the finished edge will change a lot. When two pieces are matching together, there is little gap on top, but big at the reverse side. Thus, secondary polishing procedure is not needed to reduce processing cost and increase working efficiency. Most importantly, the quality of marble pattern is much better. Using four-axis cutting head, complicated marble matching is realizable.
